Here are some design/layout i make for the thumbnails, I am not quit sure what format they need to be in, and how they are supposed to be composed, please advice! Many thanks!

At this moment of time, I have only made thumbnails for documents with images. Once this is done, I believe the ones without images can be easily sort out. Any Comments?

Explanation:

Vertical 1 & horizontal 1 have flat design and Veritcal 2 is just a more 3D version of it.

I have not yet made a firm decision on the colour scheme yet as it will be very dependent on the colour scheme of the interface itself (carrousel).

 

Is this thumbnail size a bit too big?

Is the design not creative?

hope it's not boring... I am trying to make it interesting as well as not too much for the eye....

Horizontal 3:
What information do we really need to present on thumbnail? cant really put much though. I was thinking about putting the closest match phrase/word to the dragged document -- the one we drag to the corner of agent and say 'I m interested', then, it matches by words, so if we show that closely matched word as well, would we have space for that?
